The store is beside the Frankstown Branch of the Juniata River, Indian Trails, the historic Pennsylvania Canal, and the Pennsylvania Railroad utilized this path. Now this beautiful stretch of land is home to Rails to Trails' Lower (rhymes with "flower") Trail, which runs for 16.5 miles from the Alfarata Trailhead, near Alexandria, directly behind the Williamsburg Martin General Store, to Flowing Springs. Our Williamsburg store is a great stop for bikers, walkers, and runners. Royer Mansion and Etna Furnace are also nearby. Both are under the auspices of the Blair County Historical Society.
